European e-Health Care Model for Rare Degenerative Diseases
Galen Research is working in collaboration with a multinational research team to develop a European e-Health care model. The aim is to improve health care strategies for rare neurodegenerative diseases such as Huntington’s Disease (HD). The collaborative project, titled HEALTHE-RND, is one of ten projects that has been awarded funding by the Joint Programme on Neurodegenerative Disease Research (JPND) to address challenges in health and social care. Galen is leading on the development of outcome measures specific to both HD patients and their caregivers. These will be used to evaluate the novel interventions that are being employed in the project.
